Need Help Building Bitcoin Core (Mac OS)

Hi! I'm a complete bitcoin noob trying to build a bitcoin core in the Mac OS El Capitan. I've been following the instructions in Github (https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/mastedoc/build-osx.md), but I've run into a problem when trying to debug in Qt Creator. I keep getting an error that says "No rule to make target `bitcoin-qt'. Stop"
Does anyone know what to do to fix this?

Bitcoin Core behind Tor (Mac)

Hi guys, I am not a tech guy but I would like to do my part.. After days of syncing i am finally running Bitcoin Core on my Mac. It works great, it’s just that having my IP public it doesn’t make me very comfortable, that’s why I read it would be better to use a Tor hidden service. But what app should i use? The Tor browser? On my Mac I downloaded the Tor browser, do I have to get my onion address from there? Where do I get this onion address to sync my node anonymously?
Thanks in advance for any response.. I tried googling a bit but all I got was Windows and Linux step by step guides.

Does anyone know how to delete and clean Bitcoin core wallet unfinishing synch? since my Mac book air's hardware is not enough for loading it all. And hardware space can not be released even deleted the application.

ELI5 Moving my BTC to safer Storage

Hi everyone, The value of my holdings have surpassed the amount I was comfortable storing on my home computer.
What I would like to do is separate my btc in my Bitcoin Core (MacOS GUI) client into a few separate offline wallets.
I have an old MacBook that I’d like to dedicate to make an offline client.
Armory doesn’t want to run on my main computer due to something with the OS. I haven’t tried it on my older MacBook it may work.
Trace Mayer recommended using armory but I’d like to hear what other people use instead. I’m not going to buy a hardware wallet because it’s too hard to find one and I like to do it manually
I’m not retarded when It comes to computers but i’m not a programmer...
Any help is appreciated, links or step by step instructions are great

How to create Bitcoin Cash from my Bitcoin Core wallet?

I had about 1.2 BTC before BCH was created, and spent 0.2 BTC after the cash fork. Does that mean I’m due 1 or 1.2 BCH?
What’s the best way of getting hold of my BCH? I’ve always kept my BTC in Bitcoin Core (Mac) and would prefer a desktop app rather than keep it online in something like Coinbase.

HELP! Downloaded Bitcoin Core with problems on mac!

I wanted to see what crypto was about, and so I downloaded Bitcoin Core on my mac. The loading bar said estimated time 1 week. I forgot to close and delete the app and left it running. I opened my laptop today to a message saying I am out of storage space. Did this application just take up all of my memory on my computer? (only 250GB to begin with, sad i know) Where can i delete the files the application made? Im dumb.. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

Mac Bitcoin Core official client (node) question

Might be a really silly one, but where can i set the drive that the blockchain should be stored on? It's nowhere in the preferences.
Keep in mind, most MacBooks have SSD's with 256GB being rather popular. There ought to be the ability to use ones mac for SOMETHING else besides hold like blockchain, shouldn't there?
Sorry for asking such a silly question, but really, all I need to know is how to tell Core to download the chain to and use the chain from a location that's no on my SSD.
Thanks!
